Description
BPC-157 | Body Protection Compound — Research Grade
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a 15-amino acid synthetic peptide fragment derived from the human gastric juice protein BPC. It has been the subject of a substantial body of preclinical research investigating its tissue-protective and regenerative properties.
Mechanism of Action
- Nitric oxide (NO) pathway modulation — upregulates eNOS expression, promoting vascular integrity and localised blood flow
- VEGF upregulation — stimulates angiogenesis critical for wound healing and tissue repair
- FAK-paxillin pathway — activates focal adhesion kinase, accelerating fibroblast and myoblast migration
- Dopaminergic modulation — interacts with the dopamine system, studied in CNS injury models
Research Areas
Preclinical studies have investigated BPC-157 across tendon repair, ligament healing, GI mucosal protection, inflammatory bowel models, and neurological recovery. It does not act via the HPA axis, distinguishing it from corticosteroid-based compounds.
For Research Use Only. Rainbow Peptide supplies BPC-157 exclusively for in vitro and laboratory research purposes. Not for human or veterinary use.

We’ve been sourcing BPC-157 for connective tissue repair studies for two years. Rainbow Peptide’s vials consistently pass our in-house HPLC verification — purity above 98.4% every batch. The COA matches our internal data exactly, which is rare at this price point.

Third order of BPC-157 now. Batch-to-batch consistency matters enormously in longitudinal tendon repair research, and this supplier has been rock solid. Certificate of Analysis includes full mass spec data. Will not switch sources.

BPC-157 arrived in 2 business days with cold pack still active. Dissolved cleanly in bacteriostatic water with no particulates. Purity verified at 98.2% by our reference HPLC. COA was thorough. Happy with this purchase.
