Description
Ipamorelin | Selective GH Secretagogue — Research Grade
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) and selective agonist of the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). Its high selectivity profile distinguishes it from earlier-generation secretagogues such as GHRP-2 and GHRP-6.
Mechanism of Action
- GHS-R1a agonism — directly activates the growth hormone secretagogue receptor in the pituitary and hypothalamus
- Selective GH release — stimulates GH without significant elevation of ACTH, cortisol, or prolactin
- Synergy with GHRH — GH pulse amplitude increases markedly when co-administered with GHRH analogues in research models
Research Areas
Ipamorelin is studied in GH deficiency, cachexia, bone density, and metabolic research. Its selectivity and clean side-effect profile in preclinical models make it a reference compound in GH secretagogue research.
For Research Use Only. Rainbow Peptide supplies Ipamorelin exclusively for in vitro and laboratory research purposes. Not for human or veterinary use.

Dr. D. Pearson –
Ipamorelin purity confirmed at 98.6% by our HPLC. Selectivity for GHSR in our receptor assay was consistent with published data — minimal effect on cortisol and prolactin pathways as expected. Excellent documentation from Rainbow Peptide.
L. Hoffman –
Fourth order of Ipamorelin for our longitudinal GH study. Consistent batch-to-batch purity. COA includes full spectral data. Dissolved in bacteriostatic water without issue. Quick shipping with appropriate cold-chain packaging.
C. Reyes –
Ipamorelin used in our pulsatile GH release model. Results consistent with peer-reviewed benchmarks. Purity verified at >98%. The COA was thorough including endotoxin data. Arrived in 2 days with cold pack still cold.
