Description
Bacteriostatic Water 20ml — Reconstitution Vehicle
Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (BWFI) contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol in sterile water, USP. It is the pharmaceutical-grade standard for reconstituting lyophilised peptides and proteins in research settings, permitting multiple withdrawals from a single vial while maintaining sterility.
Specification
- Volume: 20 ml multi-use vial
- Preservative: 0.9% benzyl alcohol
- pH: 5.0-7.0
- Sterility: sterile-filtered, endotoxin-tested
- Compatibility: suitable for most lyophilised peptide and protein research compounds
Reconstitution Notes
Direct bacteriostatic water against the inner vial wall to avoid disrupting the lyophilised cake. Gentle swirling is recommended. Reconstituted solutions should be stored at 2-8 degrees C and used within 28 days.
For Research Use Only. Not for direct administration. Rainbow Peptide bacteriostatic water is supplied as a research laboratory reagent only.
